1. Don't be afraid to break the rules when editing. Don't hesitate when making edits if you're afraid you'll break a rule. The very worse that can happen is that you will receive a minor notification or warning from an admin. Be confident with your edits and be ambitious about your contributions!
2. Get to know the community. Try to get involved with the wiki itself. Editing is often more comfortable when you know the community and co-editors. Get to know users and socialize! Wikia is a community database but there are users everywhere who are willing to help you and you can get to know.
3. Ask questions. If you don't know something, feel free to ask a user a question. It's best you are able to ask questions about things you don't know. If a user or admin isn't busy, chances are they will give you some positive advice.
CSS designs. A neat way to make your wiki look nice and appealing is adding CSS codes. It is a useful skill that can be learned and is very helpful to make a wiki look more stylish. CSS's abilities are infinite, to letting you change themes, add gradients, modify the sidebar, etc.
